Transfr App Missing in App Library

Three things to check: your Wi-Fi connection, which App Library tab you're on, and a device restart.

For: Lab facilitators and IT admins

If a Transfr app is missing from your headset's App Library, it's usually one of three things: the headset is offline, the App Library is showing a tab that leaves the app out, or the headset hasn't finished syncing. Work through the steps below in order. Most cases are solved by the third one.

1. Check that the headset is connected to Wi-Fi

A headset that's offline can't pull down the apps assigned to it, so apps that should be there may not appear at all.

  1. Select the Wi-Fi icon on the navigation panel.
  2. Confirm your school or district network shows Connected.
  3. If it isn't connected, select your network and enter the password if prompted.

2. Select the All tab in the App Library

The App Library sorts apps into tabs, and some tabs leave out the app you're looking for.

  1. Open the App Library.
  2. Select the All tab in the upper-left corner.
  3. Look for the Transfr app in the full list.

3. Restart the headset

If the headset hit an error while syncing with the management system, the app list can come back incomplete. Restarting triggers a fresh sync.

  1. Power the headset off completely.
  2. Power it back on and wait for the home screen to load.
  3. Open the App Library and check the All tab again.
