How do I access Trek using SSO?
Learners sign in to Trek Mobile with Clever or ClassLink. Where to click and what to do if it fails.
For: Learners, instructors, and IT admins
If your school or district uses single sign-on (SSO), learners get into Transfr Trek with the same account they already use for class — no separate Transfr password to remember. This article covers signing in to Trek Mobile (the web experience) through SSO. To log in to the Trek app inside a VR headset, see How do learners log in to the Transfr Trek app?
Before you start
- Your school sets SSO up — it's not something a learner needs to configure. Your district has enabled SSO with Transfr and rostered your Trek classrooms.
- Learners have an active account with your SSO provider — Transfr Trek supports Clever and ClassLink. (Some districts have their own button, such as NYC DOE.)
- Learners have been added to a Trek classroom in the Transfr Dashboard.
Option 1: Sign in from your school portal
- Log in to your school's SSO portal (Clever or ClassLink).
- In your SSO portal, find and select the Transfr icon.
- You land on the Learner Dashboard. Select the Trek icon on the left to open Trek Mobile.
What success looks like: Trek Mobile opens to your career pathway (your Career Matches, or the interest inventory if you have not taken it yet).
Option 2: Sign in directly at trek.transfrinc.com
- On a computer, tablet, or phone, go to trek.transfrinc.com.
- Select Sign in with Clever or Sign in with ClassLink (or your district's button).
- Enter your school SSO username and password if prompted.
What success looks like: The same as Option 1 — Trek Mobile opens to your pathway.
When sign-in doesn't work
- The Transfr icon isn't in your portal. Your account may not be rostered to Transfr yet. Ask your instructor or IT admin to confirm you're in a Trek classroom.
- You don't see your provider's button. SSO may not be enabled for your district. Your IT admin can confirm the setup with Transfr.
- Sign-in loads but Trek is empty. You're signed in, but no simulations are assigned yet. Your instructor assigns careers and generates Sim Passes from the Dashboard.
- Pages won't load or feel slow. Use the Test Your Network Connectivity link on the sign-in screen to check the connection.
