Is this Trek or Train?
The quickest tell: classroom codes work for Trek, not for Train. How to check which you have.
For: Instructors and learners
Trek is career exploration — short VR sims that let a learner try out different jobs. Train is skills training — structured practice on specific job tasks, tracked toward mastery. The quickest way to tell which one you're looking at: a classroom code gets a learner into Trek, but it does not work for Train.
How can I tell Trek and Train apart?
Check the login screen. If a classroom code field is what's being used to get in, that's Trek. Train only accepts a username and password, or a 5-digit Sim Pass — never a classroom code. If someone's typing a classroom code and it isn't accepted, they're likely at the Train login by mistake.
Which one is right for what I'm doing?
Use Trek when the goal is exposure — letting a learner sample a range of careers to figure out what interests them. Use Train when the goal is skill-building — working through a curriculum of hands-on tasks tied to a specific trade or role, with progress tracked in the Dashboard's Train reporting.
Where's the full comparison?
