What accessibility features does Trek have?

Transfr is committed to an accessible, inclusive experience for all learners and works toward web accessibility standards (WCAG) across the Trek product suite. Accessibility highlights
- Captions and languages. Every Trek VR simulation is available in English and Spanish, with closed captions. Captions can be turned on from the Settings panel on the Trek menu, or from inside a simulation — see How do I turn on captions or change the language in Trek?
- Transcripts for every simulation. Each sim has a text transcript, which supports learners without vision or hearing and anyone who wants the content outside the headset.
- Seated and one-handed options. Every simulation carries a motion accessibility label — "Can be completed on a chair" or "Can be completed on a chair using one hand" — and all sims can be completed from a rotatable chair. Automatic height calibration adjusts each scene to the learner, and re-runs from the in-simulation menu if they sit down or stand up mid-sim.
- A guiding coach. A virtual coach explains each task, repeats instructions when a learner is stuck, and never leaves them without a next step.
- Non-headset based option. Trek Mobile delivers the career-exploration and planning experience in any web browser, for learners with comfort or access barriers to VR.
- Readable content. Trek materials target a 6th–8th grade reading level, instructional materials include accommodated versions, and sims carry content warnings (for example "Contains Heights") where appropriate.
